Junior Mae Raines 81,of 151 Dogwood Drive,wife of the late John Newton Raines,passed away Saturday,Sept.24,2005.

Born in Baldwin, Ga. Habersham County. she was a daughter of the late Willian(aka)Dant and Lois Yearwood Greenway .Mrs.Raines retired from Southern Worsted Mill and was a member of Piedmont Park Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter Lois Hinton of Taylors;five sons,Eddie (Sharon)Raines of Taylors,David(Kim)Raines of Beaufort,Gene(Shirley) of Belton,Wayne(Brenda)Raines of Greenville And Donnie Joe (Sheryl) of Travelers Rest;two brothers, David Lewis(Martha)cox of Mauldin and Billy Durant(Loletta)Cox of Greenville;17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A son Donnie Raines,granddaughter,Sandra KayHinton and a half sister Velma Rumsey,predeceased her.

Graveside services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at 11B E. Belvue Road,Taylors.

The Howze Mortuary,Travelers Rest,is in charge of arrangments.
