On the 18th June 2009 Marianne 'Omma' Flatten passed away in Hospital after a 'routine' Pace maker implant.
Omma was the living proof that unconditional love was possible. She dedicated her whole life to her loved ones.
Her life was hard;my mum (her daughter) died aged 40; a couple of years later her son died. Despite those traumatic events she never failed us...she was there for us from the very beginning until the sad end. I just hope and pray that she is now reunited with her daughter;the one who was most precious for her. All I can do is to miss her with every beat of my heart,carry her with me wherever I go and and to wait until such day when I look up and reach for her kind and loving hands.
